Helping people find their way at Brussels Airport

How can you help people find their way at an airport and limit the amount of signs to a minimum? The Terminal Experience Team at Brussels Airport asked us to help them answer this question.

We organized a masterclass in Behavioural Design applied to Wayfinding, a coaching session to solve specific cases and started a wayfinding analysis of the entire airport. This project is ongoing, but will result in a set of guidelines and specific interventions to help people find their way.

This project is happening in close co-operation with the Terminal Experience team. Because this projects needed more in-depth wayfinding expertise, we’ve partnered with wayfinding Designer Jaap Knevel from Tokyo Monorail.
